We have a situation where a Kickstarter game not only is about to arrive, but it isn’t too far behind schedule. Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing has a release date for one of its platforms. The first-person broom racing game will show up on the Oculus Quest on October 13, 2020. Which isn’t too bad, considering the COVID-19 pandemic initially pushed it out of June 2020. Its Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and Steam VR versions will arrive in the beginning of 2021. It will be $29.99.
Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing involves players working together with Luna Nova Witchcraft Academy students to racing on brooms. Its a first-person game with 10 different tracks and multiple characters to race with. It will even have online multiplayer and broom customization.
A new trailer also showed off how the game will look in action. You can see what some of the tracks look like, hear the English voice acting, and even catch a brief peek at broom creation. (Japanese voice acting and text will also be available as an option.) The “Dream Flight” theme song, by Yurika, also plays in the background of the video.
Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing will come to the Oculus Quest on October 13, 2020. Its Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and Steam VR versions will arrive in “early 2021.”
