While the full title is Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, don’t let that fool you. This is a situation where it is a sequel, but at the same time is a prequel. Players follow a hero who wants to become a knight. Which is good, because there’s a demon named Mesmeroth attempting to wreak havoc and take over the kingdom. Fortunately for the hero, he has allies like Gen the robot, Trin an airship captain, and his master, Mayfair.

Here’s the Oceanhorn 2 Switch trailer. It shows the hero roaming around a town, working on a quest, fighting enemies, solving puzzles, and generally being heroic. While the original Oceanhorn had some The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker vibes, this entry is borrowing some ideas and concepts from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is immediately available on Apple iOS devices for Apple Arcade subscribers. The Oceanhorn 2 Switch port will appear in Fall 2020.
