Temtem, Crema’s monster-catching game, is headed to PlayStation 5 in 2021. Sony and Crema announced the PS5 port in its August 6, 2020 State of Play event.
Out now on PC via Steam Early Access, Temtem is a Pokémon-inspired creature-battling game with massively multiplayer elements. The game was previously announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game’s Kisiwa Island update in July added more creatures and locations, and more updates are expected before the game’s full launch in 2021.
Crema and Sony showcased Temtem‘s gameplay in a trailer accompanying the PS5 port announcement.
The announcement didn’t specify when in 2021 to expect the Temtem PS5 port, so it’s possible that it will reach the platform at the same time as the older-generation consoles. To learn more about the game and how it plays, check out more June showcase, also included a Spelunky 2 release date and gameplay reveals for Crash Bandicoot 4.
