The update confirmed four of the characters who will be showing up with increased frequency in the Wild Area’s dens. You might end up seeing a Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, or Alolan Raichu hanging around. In addition, the update noted that shiny Pikachus will be appearing as Max Raid bosses during this event. Nothing was mentioned about any possible Gigantamax Pikachu appearances. (There was a Max Raid event involving it back in May 2020.)
