Sony decided to usher people into the weekend with a Ghost of Tsushima update, but it might not be the sort you expect. It released all sorts of stats going over what people have done over the first ten days after launch. There are figures showing the total number of Ghost of Tsushima duels fought (57.7 million), photos taken (15.5 million), and even foxes petted (8.8 million) between July 17-27, 2020.

Here’s the tweet announcing the eleven different categories Sony took into account. There are eleven different actions and activities that were counted.

And, for those who don’t want to load up a bunch of pictures, here are all of the official counts from Sony’s announcement:

  • 8.8 million foxes were petted
  • 14.2 million haikus written
  • 15.5 million photos taken
  • 16.2 million onsen visited
  • 17.1 million bamboo strikes completed
  • 28.1 million flute songs played
  • 37.5 million inari shrines honored
  • 57.5 million duels fought
  • 139.4 million enemies collapsed in fear
  • 156.4 million stand-offs happened
  • 810.3 years were spent on horseback

Ghost of Tsushima is available for the PlayStation 4. On July 27, 2020, it received a patch that added low intensity combat and Lethal difficulty options.
