Falcom released a new batch of The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki character details, this time mainly focusing on returning characters from The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki. However, we also got a look at a new character—-an intimidating man known as Emperor. Finally, details were shared on another minigame that takes place on the beach. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Emma Millstein (CV: Saori Hayami)
Emma is member of the original Class VII and the ancient Hexen clan. Her mother passed away when she was young. She grew up with the Hexen leader Roselia as a foster grandmother and Vita Clotilde acting as a sister to her. During the civil war, her true nature as a Hexen witch came to light and, since then, she helped both the old and new Class VII with her powerful Orbal arts.
After the Great Twilight, Emma returned with Celine to her hometown of Elin. Since then, she has been traveling all across Zemuria to check the Septium veins across the land, as they were abnormal during the crisis.
Fie Claussell (CV: Hisako Kanemoto)
Fie is young bracer with incredible physical abilities from the jaeger corps Zephyr. She was left wandering the battlefield after the disbandment of her corps. Due to meeting Sara Valestein and spending time with Class VII, she managed to obtain an official Bracer license and works as a pair alongside Sara.
During the Great Twilight, she faced off against her adoptive father Rutger Claussell and decided to continue down the path of the Bracer afterwards. Her nickname during her jaeger corps days, Sylphid, stuck and is well-known around the Bracers’ Guild where she’s seen as a rising star.
Gaius Worzel (CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya)
Gaius is one of the Septian Church’s Dominion and a member of the nomads who live on the Nord Highlands. He’s the eldest of four brothers. Due to his ability to see the true nature of others without any prior prejudice, he’s earned the trust of Class VII and many others. After graduating from Thors, he inherited the position of the 8th Dominion and faced off against the enemies during the crisis at the capital as the Soaring Phoenix. Together with his faithful hawk, Zeo, he has been fulfilling his duty as the 8th Dominion across Zemuria. Recently, he’s found certain clues hinting at the truth behind the crisis in the Empire and has returned to his homeland to investigate.
Millium Orion (CV: Kotori Koiwai)
Millium is one of the members of the old Class VII and is an innocent and cheerful young girl. However, her real identity is that of a homunculus created by the Gnomes. She also cares the most about her sister Altina, who was born under similar circumstances. She joined the Intelligence Division of the Imperial Army and supported both the old and new Class VII, but later lost her life due to the Gnomes’ machinations. However, thanks to Arianrhod’s final blessing and the help of the witches and Divine Knights, she was able to receive a new body and now once again works at the Intelligence Division as a cheerful operator.
Crimson Roselia (CV: Kaori Mizuhashi)
Roselia is the leader of the Hexen clan. She has a youthful body, despite being over 800 years old, and a wise, formal tone of speech. She created Celine. She is Emma’s master and has a grandmother-like existence. However, she’s also actually one of the Holy Beasts sent by Aidios, just like Zeit in Crossbell.
Despite all this, she’s someone who likes to follow the current fads and loves junk food. Due to her somewhat slovenly lifestyle, she’s sometimes told off by Emma.
After the end of the crisis at the Empire, she completed her duties as the chief by making sure the distortions at the Septium veins disappeared. However, something new came up…
Celine (CV: Mai Aizawa)
Celine is Emma’s familiar and takes the form of a black cat who can speak the human tongue. She acts as Emma’s guide and, due to being created by Roselia, has great magic potential. She can even change into a human form. She’s known Rean since his time at the military academy, supported him when fighting in the Divine Knight, and protected him when he was used as a sacrifice during the Great Twilight.
After the crisis, she returned to Elin, but received a request from Roselia to investigate the Septium veins.
Fran Seeker (CV: Moyu Arishima)
Fran is the younger sister of Noel Seeker and works as a receptionist and operator for the Crossbell Police. She has looked up to Noel since she was a child and they are extremely close, to the point they go on outings together during the weekend.
Compared to her more active sister, Fran is more girly and likes collecting stuffed dolls and trinkets. However, she is quite skilled as an operator and has supported Lloyd and the others many times. With Crossbell preparing to become independent once again, she’s very happy at the return of peaceful times.
Shizuku MacLaine (CV: Rumiko Inoue)
Shizuku is the daughter of the famed A-rank Bracer Arios MacLaine. She’s a gentle young girl who cares deeply for her father and is friendly with KeA and other kids around her age. During her childhood, she lost her eyesight due to an explosion, but this was healed by KeA after she became the Sept-Terrion of Zero. During the period of occupation by the Empire, Arios made her evacuate to Remiferia, but even then she continued to send letters to Lloyd and the other resistance members to encourage them.
Emperor (CV: Junichi Yanagita)
“Emperor” is the codename of the mysterious man who acts as the leader of a certain organization. He treats the lower ranking members of his organization as expendable tools and is a cruel man who will kill any who try to escape the organization. He owns an artifact that allows him to control gravity, and many bodies have been crushed by his attacks.
He seems to be searching for two members of his organization who have recently defected with help from certain individuals.
Side Episode: The Ultimate Game Meal
Prince Olivert is holding a banquet, but only the finest of dishes shall be presented at this royal buffet. With the pride of Thors Branch Academy on the line, it is up to the famed gourmet(?) Freddy to create the ultimate meal.
Minigame: Beach Vacation
Both the old and new Class VII have come to Lake Beach at Mishelam Wonderland to have a fun time at the recommendation of Juna’s father, Matthew. This minigame is full of fun side activities like splitting watermelons and banana boating.
Watermelon Splitting
A mini-game where you must aim and act with the right timing and in the right direction in order to cleanly split the watermelon in half. The closer you are to the best time and place, the more points you get.
Banana Boating
Banana boat with a partner! You’ll need to turn the left analog stick in order to not get knocked off the boat. Obtain the flags floating on the water to earn the required score!
Communication Event
You choose your favorite drink and spend some time with a partner. They’ll talk to you, and you can answer with a “yes” or “no.” Depending on your current relationship level, you might even see a special event and, if you change the angle of where you’re looking from, the topic of the conversation might even change.
The Communication Event sections will include PlayStation VR support after a post-launch update.
The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki will be released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan and Asia on August 27, 2020. Previously, other Cold Steel characters and a quiz minigame were introduced.
