Hawkeye will be a fully-fleshed out character. While he won’t be right there, he will still get his own line of story missions and villain you could play alone or with others. He’ll have his own moveset and skills, costumes, emotes, equipment, nameplates, and Heroics. The PlayStation Blog even shared an extra alternative outfit from Matt Fraction and David Aja’s  Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon.

To go along with his unveiling, here’s a Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye trailer. It briefly shows him attacking some enemies with shock arrows. It also looks at some of the comics that inspired this game’s portrayal of the character, specifically pointing to Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon.

As for the Marvel’s Avengers beta, things people can see and earn were announced. Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, and Kamala Khan will all be playable characters in it. People can go through the Golden Gate Bridge demo with Taskmaster boss fight, go through the Hulk and Kamala Khan mission To Find Olympia and head with Hulk and Kamala to Missing Links. There will be three HARM Challenge Rooms, five Beta War Zones, and five Drop Zones. You can get one nameplate for the full game for participating in the beta and a second one for beating the HARM Challenge Rooms.

Marvel’s Avengers will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4, 2020, with the beta first starting on August 7, 2020 for select people. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X free upgrades are planned. Marvel’s Avenger’s Hawkeye will be a post-launch character.
