Siliconera will be streaming Ghost of Tsushima this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday starting 12pm ET to 2pm ET, Siliconera will be playing through this Japanese historical drama.
Siliconera will be playing through the game with English audio, though we may switch back and forth between the Samurai Cinema mode and Standard modes of the game. Which means that you may get to hear both Japanese and English audio during the stream. Additionally, for those unable to make the Ghost of Tsushima stream, we will be archiving the streams on Twitch.
Ghost of Tsushima is the latest Sucker Punch title. Taking place on the Japanese island of Tsushima, the game follows Jin Sakai as he protects the citizens of Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. While the game is based off of a specific event in Japanese history, it is more or less a loose fictional account. You can read more about the history of this event through our primer.
This open world historical drama allows players to explore different style of game play by either utilizing various stances while using your katana, or by taking a stealthier approach. In addition to this, the game does come with both Japanese and English voice tracks, and an additional Kurosawa Mode filter that imitates the feeling of an old black and white film.
Ghost of Tsushima is immediately available on the PlayStation 4.
