Azur Lane and Arknights publisher Yostar announced that its next mobile RPG, Blue Archive, will launch in Japan in 2020.

Details for Blue Archive are light for now, but the premise is an “RPG in which you find miracles in everyday life.” Players will take on the role of a teacher who leads their students into the city to solve various cases.

Moreover, Yostar will be accepting closed beta applications in Japan from now through July 31, 2020, at 1:59 pm JST. A total of 1,000 participants will be selected for the closed beta test. If the number of applications surpasses 1,000 then it will select on a lottery basis.
It’s also worth noting that this closed beta test will only be available for Android (Version 8.0 and above). A beta test that includes iOS devices will likely come sometime later. Those of you interested in signing up for the first closed beta test can sign up over at the new teaser website.
Blue Archive will launch in Japan sometime in 2020 for iOS and Android devices. It will be a free-to-play title with micro-transactions.
