Limited Run Games has revealed a Garou Mark of the Wolves physical release is on the way. The trailer the publisher played during its streaming showcase event noted both PS4 and PS Vita, but as of right now the PS4 version will be up for sale first. The Garou Mark of the Wolves physical release will go on sale sometime later this month, in July 2020.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves is notable for being (to date) the final entry in the Fatal Fury series. SNK more or less folded everything up into The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown being a recent exception. Garou has seen re-release multiple times across several platforms, even more than once on the PS4 as part of the ACA Neo Geo line as well as a previous standalone release. The latter was in the news recently, as SNK partner Code Mystics revealed plans to add rollback netcode to Garou and other re-released fighting games.

While a Garou: Mark of the Wolves sequel isn’t coming out anytime soon, SNK has already revealed that the 15th King of Fighters is in development. We’re also getting more Neo Geo Pocket Color re-releases, something that was unheard of until recently.
