People in the United States just celebrated the July 4th Independence Day holiday, and Fate/Grand Order isn’t about to miss out on the festivities. The game is rerunning its All the Statesmen! Learning with Manga: The History of the American Frontier event for the next two weeks until July 17, 2020. That’s a fairly generous window, but fear not: The event is just as it was in 2019. There are a handful of story missions, all of which will be unlocked for completion by July 7, 2020. Players who participate will receive a free limited Servant: Paul Bunyan.
Also known as the “Berserker of Learning With Manga”, Paul Bunyan was designed by Riyo, the artist of Fate/Grand Order‘s Learning With Manga. She’s based on the giant from North American folklore. Bunyan figures into many tall tales about lumberjacks and loggers in the forests of Canada and the United States, accompanied by an equally gigantic, blue-colored ox named Babe. Learning With Manga is a comedic gag strip poking fun at both the game and its players. It received a one-off animated adaptation in 2018.
The 1-Star rarity Bunyan is one of the cheapest playable Servants in Fate/Grand Order, but is a blessing for both new players and veterans. Bunyan has a skill set designed for support and is able to reduce the defenses of enemies, as well as heal allies and boost their Buster attacks. Her low cost makes her easy to fit into any party composition, and with minimal support to charge her Noble Phantasm, she can crush a wave of foes underfoot.
Fate/Grand Order‘s All the Statesmen! event is live now on iOS and Android, and will run until July 17, 2020. Players looking for news of something new can look forward to announcements about the game’s upcoming 3rd Anniversary at this site.
