People will soon have another way of “feeling” like they are Mega Man. Capcom announced its first Mega Man VR experience, which will only be available at its Plaza Capcom in Q Plaza Ikebukuro. The Rockman VR: Aimed at the Virtual World experience will appear at the VR-X space on July 18, 2020. [Thanks, Kotaku!]

At the moment, we don’t know exactly what Rockman VR will entail. The premise is that a virtual world needs to be saved from Dr. Wily, who is on his whole “conquer and rule over everything” kick again. The only person who can save the day is Mega Man.

Here’s the key art for the event.

The Plaza Capcom VR-X corner is rather famous for its Resident Evil experiences. For example, there is the Biohazard: Walk Through the Fear experience, which lets four people try and get through a house owned by Resident Evil 7’s Jack Baker. The other original game is Biohazard Valiant Raid, which lets up to four people become Umbrella Security Service members trying to survive a dangerous lab.

As a reminder, Q Plaza Ikebukuro is the home of not only Plaza Capcom, but the Capcom Cafe. It previously ran a Resident Evil 3-themed menu and soon will have a Devil May Cry 5 event.
