An old series seems to be coming back. A new Shadow Warrior game is being teased. The official Twitter account has resumed its activity and shared an imaging hinting at things to come. Specifically, a new trailer is on the way.
Here’s the tweet. While there was no written text, the image shown said, “Teaser trailer filming in progress. Quiet please!”

This comes after the Devolver Direct 2020 presentation was announced. That pre-recorded video will air on July 11, 2020. As the 2013 Shadow Warrior reboot and its sequel Shadow Warrior 2, were both published by Devolver Digital, it seems quite likely that this teaser trailer could end up appearing during that event.
The Shadow Warrior series began back in 1997 with 3D Reams and GT Interactive Software’s PC game. It had a direct sequel, Shadow Warrior: Twin Dragon and a Shadow Warrior: Wanton Destruction follow-up. Flying Wild Hog took over with its reboot and sequel, which both appeared on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
We’ll have to wait for more information about and a teaser trailer for this new Shadow Warrior game in the coming days and weeks. The most recent two entries can be found on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
