The latest Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration event will allow fans to soar the skies with EVANGELION THE FLIGHT. In collaboration with the Fuji Airways, Evangelion fans will be able to experience the word of Neon Genesis Evangelion through this pseudo suspension ride turned virtual simulation. The virtual simulation suspension ride will allow fans fully immerse themselves into the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion through images projected on the ride’s 20 meter monitor. This special event will begin on July 18, 2020. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
EVANGELION THE FLIGHT was created to celebrate the upcoming release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0. While the film currently has no scheduled release date, as the original screening had been postponed due to concerns regarding COVID-19, these collaboration events are still going strong. Other collaboration events and items are currently available for Evangelion fans to participate in or get their hands on. Collaboration items include a series of Schick razors and a collaboration with Honda to release special Evangelion themed vehicles.
