Koei Tecmo and Gust announced Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX with a new teaser trailer.
Check out the Surge Concerto series teaser trailer for the titles below:
Ciel nosurge originally released for the PlayStation Vita in Japan in April 2012. The life simulation game introduces players to a girl with amnesia named Ionasal.kkll.Preciel, or Ion for short. Ion lives in a different dimension and your goal is to help her recover her lost memories. The game had a variety of interesting functions, such as the ‘Sharl’ fairies that you get from scanning barcodes using the PS Vita camera. Players could also type out messages for each other as a social aspect of the game, which required PSN connectivity to play.
As for Ar nosurge, it is an RPG sequel to Ciel nosurge and first released for the PS3 in Japan in March 2014 followed by an updated PS Vita version called Ar nosurge Plus in October 2014. The game released in the West in September 2014 for PS3 and July 2015 for the PS Vita. The game’s story is told through the perspectives of several key characters, including Ion from Ciel nosurge.
Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX are currently in development. The platform(s) has yet to be announced.
