A special Neon Genesis Evangelion Soundtrack 25th Anniversary Box will be released October 2020. Scheduled to release on October 7, 2020, this special Anniversary Box will have over forty pieces of music from the various Evangelion movies and from the animated series. The 25th Anniversary Box will cost ¥9,800 or $90 and the EVANGELION FINALLY soundtrack will cost ¥4,900 or roughly $45. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The music featured in the Neon Genesis Evangelion 25th Anniversary Box will include tracks like “FLY ME TO THE MOON,” in various versions including the 2020 release of the song, Cruel Angel’s Thesis, and other iconic pieces of music from the Evangelion series. You can listen to snippets of the music that will be included in this limited edition via the YouTube video below.

The EVANGELION FINALLY soundtrack includes the same popular tracks as listed above, but doesn’t have quite as many songs. While EVANGELION FINALLY will comes with a special jacket design inspired by the Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 mubichike card featuring Rei Ayanami, the soundtrack will only have fifteen tracks.

Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997’s Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 currently has no release date and has been delayed multiple times. A new scheduled release date has not yet been announced.
