While the theme of the Game Gear Micro Yellow is “RPG” it mostly features Shining Force Gaiden titles with three of them and the puzzle RPG Nazo Puyo as the fourth title.

Shining Force Gaiden: Ensei – Jashin no Kuni e

The very first entry in the Shining Force Gaiden series. The first game is set in Guardiana about 20 years after the events of the first Shining Force. It is a tactical RPG featuring Nick as the chosen new leader of the Guardiana Shining Force.

Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya

Game Gear Micro Yellow Shining Force Gaiden

Originally released in Japan as Shining Force Gaiden II: Jashin no Mezame. It is a sequel to the first Shining Force Gaiden that takes place two months after the events of the previous game. This time around, it features Deanna and friends as the main characters.

Game Gear Micro Yellow Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict

To make things more confusing, despite its name, Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict is not related by story to Shining Force Gaiden or Shining Force Gaiden II. Instead, it fills the gap between Shining Force and Shining Force II.

Nazo Puyo: Arle no Roux

Game Gear Micro Yellow Nazo Puyo: Arle no Roux

Nazo Puyo: Arle no Roux is a puzzle RPG developed by Compile (Now Compile Heart) and released for the Sega Game Gear exclusively in Japan in 1994. It features two modes with the main story mode that involves collecting curry ingredients with Arle and an endless mode that lets you enjoy traditional Puyo Puyo action.
