To celebrate the physical Blaster Master Zero Limited Run release and PlayStation 4 release, Inti Creates has been gradually sharing design documents from the first and second games showing how the Blaster Master revival came to be. The last few are more spoiler-filled than previous pages, with a few of them focusing heavily on SOPHIA.
The first round of spoiler-filled documents shared on Twitter looked at end-game encounters in the game. Essentially, you’ll see a lot of vehicles and major opponents. One is a helpful prototype that provides Jason with some major assistance, which is necessary when dealing with some of these foes.
The more recent round of Blaster Master Zero SOPHIA design docs focused on the different models. They offered different perspectives of units like SOPHIA III. One even looked at what could have been by showing decorations that almost were added to its cockpit.
Finally, another pair of images on Twitter explained why Jason’s Blaster Master Zero t-shirt has the design it does on it.
Blaster Master Zero is available on the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. Blaster Master Zero 2 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you’d want to look back at more design documents, some of the earlier ones focused on Jason and Eve.
