Announced back in 2018, the sequel to Project Nimbus: Code MIRAI, Nimbus INFINITY, got its first gameplay look at Indie Live Expo today.
Check out the gameplay trailer below:
The game takes place on the eve of the year 2100, where half of humanity has migrated to space colonies, and opened up a new future for civilization since the end of the last great war under to rule of the central CFN government. Since the last game, Battle Frame technology has become irrelevant, and pilots of such mecha with the ability to create neural links have vanished. However, as 2100 begins, a young man is about to sway the balance of humanity’s future once more.
The game is currently set to release on PC via Steam, and while console versions are also planned, it will release after the PC version.
A few more screenshots can be found below:
In the first game, Project Nimbus: Code Mirai, people can choose from over 12 Battle Frame mechs with various weapons and head out in either a campaign or survival mode. With its sequel, we can assume that there will be content of a similar caliber. More info will be released later.
Nimbus INFINITY is in development for PC and consoles.
