The next Animal Crossing event has begun. This time, it is a rather low-effort activity that can earn you some decorations for your home. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Museum Day stamp rally has begun in the game. Between May 18-31, 2020, people can visit Blathers in their museum, provided they have a museum on their island, to visit exhibits and earn plagues.
Getting started is quite easy, as is finding all the exhibits. After all, each wing of the museum isn’t that large and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Museum Day stamp rally only takes place in the bug, fish, and fossil wings. All three have three very visible stamp station in them. Getting one stamp shows you the other two for that wing. For example, when I went to the fish section, my first stamp was for the Abyss fish, and the card noted that the Coral Reef and Icy Sea displays were the other two to visit.
Once you get all of the stamps for a specific area, you can go and speak to Blathers. He will acknowledge your achievement and provide the fourth and final stamp for the card. He will also then give you the plaque for that area of the museum, which you can take and display in your home.
Other recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons events were a bit more involved. The May Day event had people solving a maze on a special island to reach Rover and get a piece of furniture. For Earth Day, you could end up earning a recipe to build your own hedges around your island. The Wedding Season event between June 1-30, 2020 will require you to visit Harv’s Island to help Cyrus and Reese celebrate their wedding anniversary in exchange for more items.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch.
