Microsoft already confirmed that an Xbox Series X May 7, 2020 video presentation will be aired online. The video will be dedicated to upcoming games for the next gen console. However, it also marks the beginning of a new initiative. The company’s official website said it will be the first Xbox 20/20 video.
Xbox 20/20’s goal is to have a new episode each month and be a means of sharing new information via Inside Xbox. The focus of the first one will be on video footage of games people will play on the Xbox Series X. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is confirmed to appear. Each one will be Xbox Series X optimized and some will use Smart Delivery.
Microsoft also teased what could come in the future. It noted the July 2020 Xbox 20/20 will be an Xbox Game Studios presentation. This means companies like 343 Industries, Double Fine, Mojang, Ninja Theory, Obsidian Entertainment, and Rare. It also mentioned Xbox Game Pass will appear as a topic in future installments.
As part of this update, Microsoft also offered an overview of what to expect from the Xbox brand in 2020. Project xCloud will expand its service devices and area, the Xbox Game Pass for PC version will have first-party games at launch, and the Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite will release this holiday season.
The Xbox Series X May 7, 2020 presentation will be held at 8am PT/11am ET/5pm CET on sites like Mixer, Twitch, and YouTube. It will look at upcoming games and be presented in English, French, German, Italian, (Brazilian) Portuguese, and (LATAM) Spanish. The Xbox Series X will be out this holiday season.
