Borderlands Legendary Collection Brings the Series to Nintendo Switch

Gearbox Software’s Borderlands has been portable before, but it could have gone better. Luckily we’re giving it another go, this time on the Nintendo Switch. During today’s surprise Nintendo Direct “mini,” 2K Games announced a set of ports coming later this year. For Gearbox’s part, May 29, 2020 will see the launch of Borderlands Legendary Collection. This will bring the entire suite of last-gen’s Borderlands series, excluding the recently-released Borderlands 3. Check out the official trailer:

The Borderlands Legendary Collection includes the original Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and the Pre-Sequel title taking place between the two numbered entries. Each game will support local split-screen co-op, and up to four players online. You’ll also be able to use motion controls with the Joy-Cons or a Pro Controller, in both docked and handheld mode.
