People worldwide are going to get a chance to enjoy extra Final Fantasy VII supplemental materials. Square Enix announced it will be releasing Final Fantasy VII World Preview outside of Japan. The localization has been confirmed and it has a September 8, 2020 release window.
Final Fantasy VII World Preview debuted in Japan on March 19, 2020. The goal is to help people better understand the people you’ll see, like familiar faces like Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa. It also helps explain insights about locations, like Wall Market. As the official product page for it notes, Director Tetsuya Nomura and Producer Yoshinori Kitase both penned its introduction. Also, it even has a short story from Kazushige Nojima inside. Nojima worked on the scenario for the game and wrote the Final Fantasy VII short stories in On the Way to a Smile.
Final Fantasy VII World Preview will be available digitally and physically. Digital copies will be $16.99. If someone goes with a digital copy, the 128-page hardcover book will cost $24.99. Going with a digital copy might be wisest, in the event the same shipping delays affecting things like the Final Fantasy VII physical copies hit this release.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020, though people might not find physical copies on that exact date. Final Fantasy VII World Preview will be released on September 8, 2020.
