Check out the new trailer for Guilty Gear -Strive- featuring Millia Rage and Zato-1 below:
Arc System Works initially planned on revealing the new characters during the Brussels Challenge and Final Round 2020 this month. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus concerns the company decided to merge the trailers into one and premiered it today instead.
Arc System Works is also accepting applications for a Guilty Gear -Strive- closed beta test. The signups are still live until 6:59am PT on April 5, 2020. As for the closed beta test period, it will take place from April 16 to April 19, 2020 for those who get in. The closed beta build will feature a handful of characters, the latest UI, character balance adjustments, and more.
To be more specific, the closed beta features a total of seven characters. This includes Sol, Ky, Axl, May, Chipp, Potemkin, and Faust. Arc System Works also confirmed that Guilty Gear -Strive- will use a rollback-based netcode. However, the netcode is still in development and isn’t ready for use. That said, Arc System Works will use a delay-based netcode for the closed beta test.
Guilty Gear -Strive-Â will release for the PlayStation 4 in late 2020.
