Get ready to rewind. The Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Time Machine update is about to arrive. On March 20, 2020, Bandai Namco’s UK Twitter account announced a patch will be released that adds the new feature to the game. So if someone enjoyed a particular part of the story and already finished adventuring with Goku and his friends, they can roll things back and return to the past.
Here’s how the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Time Machine will work. Once you download the patch, there will be a new option to go back to older portions of the story. You will then see a list that will go through each part of the game’s different episodes, specifically labeling different moments and battles. For example, the one highlighted in the shared screenshot looks at Stop the Saiyan Invasion Episode 2: Rumble with Raditz. It offered a brief description, a summary of the fights, and a look at the player’s past grade.
Once you actually begin a Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Time Machine session, the game will let you know that you are time traveling. Another screenshot showed that text in the upper left corner will say “Replaying Story” as a constant reminder of what you’re currently doing.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
