Furthermore, a now-deleted tweet from the Japanese official PlayStation Twitter account says that the video is from a session recording that was planned for Game Developers Conference. For this reason, the PlayStation 5 system architecture presentation video will only be available in English.
We heard last month that the PS5 manufacturing cost reportedly increased to $450 per unit. Sony usually finalizes a new console’s price by February of the release year, but things have been slow this time around. As for components, Sony has reportedly locked down most of it for the PlayStation 5. The company has yet to decide how many PlayStation 5 consoles it will produce in the first year. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak has had no impact on PlayStation 5 production.
The PlayStation 5 is expected to release this holiday season.
