In this Trials of Mana demo, you’ll be able to choose any combination of three party members and enjoy an adventure. The demo will go up to the first boss, letting players enjoy about a solid hour and a half of gameplay. Players will be able to learn about each character’s origin stories through this demo, which could help you decide on your team for the full game. Additionally, players will be able to transfer their save data to the full version of the game.

If you’re having trouble deciding on your team, you can consult Square Enix’s “Recommended Party Build” website. It has people answer ten questions to find the perfect party for your style of play. However, please note that this site is currently only avaliable in Japanese.

Trials of Mana will receive a lot of changes from its original 1995 version, including new costumes, the ability to split the party in towns, more save slots, and other quality of life changes. The music has been rerecorded, and you can hear 11 of the songs from the soundtrack already.

Trials of Mana will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC worldwide on April 24, 2020.
