Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume by Nippon Ichi Software Announced for PS4 and Switch

Nippon Ichi Software, often known as NIS, will be releasing a new title on June 25, 2020, titled Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume, which could be roughly translated as “Poison Hell Maiden”. Shoujo Jigoku will cost ¥6,980 (roughly $66.50) at release. Additionally, it will be released on the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. The title is currently in development. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]

Character art for Shoujo Jigoku will be done by Madoka Hanashiro. Hanashiro’s character design credits also include Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, and Your Four Princess Knights Training Story.

  • The Poison Maiden, voiced by Manami Numakura
  • The White Poison Maiden, voiced by Mina Takagawa
  • The Maiden in Mourning Garb, voiced by Tomo Kawakami

  • Ayumi Mori, a girl who turned reality to ash
  • Mahoro Hiiragi, a girl who died before fulfilling her promise to her friend
  • Nanasaki Yoshie, a girl fascinated by a curse
  • Misao Mizuki, a girl who was too fond of erotic books

Finally, here are details about this new title: 

  • Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume will be an action RPG.
  • The hero character of this title is a man with a melted arm that has the bone exposed.
  • The Poison Maiden’s communication scenes will have branching paths.
  • The protagonist must cooperate with the Poison Maiden if he wants to return to the world of the living.
  • Each girl’s personal hell has a Poison Marsh that is a product of the girl’s thoughts which the Poison Maiden can affect and absorb. While doing so, the player will be able to defeat the enemies found within. Also, the Poison Maiden has the ability to purify the Poison Marshes.
  • There are a variety of attack methods, such as using a poisoned maiden as an arm and shooting bullets like in a third-person shooter. Additionally, players will be able to use a wide variety of short and long-range attacks.

Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume will release on June 25, 2020 in Japan for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
