Epic Games Store wishlists have appeared. The long-awaited feature has made its debut on the distributor, with people able to begin adding games they are interested in to a list so it is easier to keep track of them and perhaps even wait for price drops.
The announcement noted that this is only the first version of the Epic Games Store wishlists, so things could change as time goes on. For now, people who use the distributor will see a small heart next to the purchase button for games. This adds them to a list that can be accessed on its own page in the launcher or in a browser. For the moment, some basic sorting is available. You can have them listed alphabetically, based on price low to high or high to low, according to when you added them, and by if they are on sale. Email notifications aren’t available yet, but will be.
The Epic Games Store wishlists were among two features promised at the end of December 2019. The other was a critics review section for game pages. That feature has already been implemented, allowing people to see ratings for games from different websites.
The new feature is immediately available through the Epic Games Store launcher after a brief update.
