A number of Dispatch Games titles won’t be appearing on schedule, due to production delays in China as a result of COVID-19 coronavirus. The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special, Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto, and Radirgy Swag Switch’s release dates have all been pushed back. In addition, the illness will also cause the Radirgy hat and t-shirt to release later than planned.
Dispatch Games noted tentative release dates for all three games, but it isn’t guaranteeing they will appear at these times. While The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special had a Fall 2019 launch window originally, it now might appear on May 5, 2020. Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto was supposed to show up in April 2020, but now it seems the train will reach the station on May 17, 2020. Radirgy Swag is now the most recent release. While it had a Fall 2019 window initially, it now could appear on April 21, 2020.
While the coronavirus will delay some Dispatch Games products, others will appear as normal. The company says its Nintendo Switch cartridges arrive from Japan and are coming in on time. It says its albums, CD sets, and printed-items are all US-based, so the production of those won’t be affected either. However, it did note that worldwide shipping delays could occur and be outside of the company’s hands, due to the illness delaying things worldwide.
