Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduces various new features like the camera app through the Nook Phone function. Nintendo shared a quick look at some of the camera features, including various filters and other options.
Check out the new gameplay video from the Japanese official Animal Crossing Twitter:
Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ camera app is easy for everyday use and lets you preserve photos on the Nintendo Switch album. The camera has all kinds of options for you to take in-game selfies or photos with your favorite villagers. You can zoom in or use various filters such as normal, antique, film, monochrome, and more. It also has frame options that show the date of the photo, as shown with today’s date in the video.
Furthermore, when using reaction emotes for a photo near a villager they’ll join in for the perfect photo op.

The Passport is basically a player card that has various information about the player character. It shows the player’s name, photo, comment, island name, favorite thing, title, and birthdate. Players will get to check each other’s Passports in multiplayer island visits.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release for the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020. Check our previous report for a look at the latest Japanese commercials. Siliconera also got the chance to try it out at PAX East 2020. Read more about it here.
