Another opportunity to participate in a Phantasy Star Online 2 beta has been announced, and this one won’t be as exclusive. Following the February 2020 closed beta, an Xbox One open beta has been confirmed. It will begin at 5pm PT/8pm ET on March 17, 2020. There’s no word on how long it will last, but remember that Sega has been generous with these tests. (The closed beta was extended after issues with the game kept people from playing as planned.)
The latest Phantasy Star Online 2 beta was confirmed on Twitter, complete with a promise that the official website will offer more details about what it will entail. It is important to remember that progress from the closed beta was promised to carry over and include rewards for the full game. It also included multiple Urgent Quests and a concert performance people could watch that included all sorts of beneficial buffs to help you on your various missions. As our Playtest indicated, it certainly seemed like a promising start for both Sega and the MMORPG in general.
This Phantasy Star Online 2 beta will begin on the Xbox One on March 17, 2020. The game will come to the Xbox One first in 2020, followed by a PC release.
