Here is the official statement on the PlayStation 4 Dead or Alive 6 hair color microtransactions from Twitter.
Dear fans,
We hear and acknowledge your disappointment behind our roll out of the new hair color feature for DOA6. We greatly appreciate your feedback, and are working towards a solution that helps to mitigate this issue and will share our plans in the coming days.
We apologize for our misstep, and are working hard to resolve this situation. We thank you in advance for your patience and hope you continue to enjoy DOA6.
The Dead or Alive 6 hair color changes were added as part of the PlayStation 4 February 25, 2020 patch 1.20. However, each time you would change a single character’s hair color, you would have to use one of the pair Premium Ticket items. These would be $1.99 for two tickets, $19.99 for 20 tickets, and $44.99 for 50 tickets. Any time you should change the color, you would need a ticket. In addition, the changes were tied to save data and not saved on the server, so if data was corrupted or lost, the characters would go back to their original hair colors.
Dead or Alive 6 is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
