Square Enix Is Making Dragon Quest V Bring Arts Figures

Square Enix announced that it will be producing new Dragon Quest V Bring Arts figures. The figures to be produced include the Hero, Bianca, and Flora/Nera and are priced at ¥6,800 yen, or roughly $62 each. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Square Enix will offer a limited edition version of each Dragon Quest V Bring Arts figure that comes with battle expression faceplates. The limited edition and the regular edition share the same price point, offering fans an easy way to get limited editions during this run. Additionally, each figure has full poseable limbs, making them perfect for displaying mid-action. Additionally, each character has a few additional sets of changable hands.

The Dragon Quest V Bring Arts figures feature dynamic clothing with folds and detailing, making it feel like the game’s characters have come to life. Each character has been carefully rendered to look true to Akira Toriyama’s in-game character designs, which is in keeping with Bring Arts’ high quality products.

The Dragon Quest V Bring Arts figures have three planned release dates during 2020. The Hero will release in May, Bianca will release in July, and Flora/Nera will release in August. Preorders are currently open on the Japanese Square Enix e-STORE.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride has appeared on the Super Famicom and PlayStation 2 in Japan and on the Nintendo DS and mobile devices worldwide. Dragon Quest: Your Story is based on it.
