Konami is revolutionizing their step smashing game for PlayStation 3. DanceDanceRevolution (yes, no spaces now) has a bunch of new features including PlayStation Move support. The PlayStation Move mode has players move their hands while they step on a mat. Using the PlayStation Eye camera, DanceDanceRevolution puts players and dancers on screen simultaneously. You can record videos of your dances, spice them up with PlayStation Move effects like capturing on screen particles, then share them on YouTube straight from your PlayStation 3.
DanceDanceRevolution also has a couple of new modes. In Club Mode, players can pick between four to twenty songs to dance to. The difficulty level changes depending on how well you dance. Konami says Club Mode will have other gimmicks, including an option for non-stop (read: endless mode) dancing. Dance Off Mode is a dance battle. Challenge mode ups the difficulty with diagonal arrows. This sounds like the eight panel mode Konami showed off at E3 back in 2009.
Konami has 20 licensed songs lined up for DanceDanceRevolution plus 25 new Konami originals. Additional songs can be purchased on PlayStation Network. DanceDanceRevolution is slated to come out this fall.
