Inti Creates has announced that Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack is coming to the PlayStation 4 on April 23, 2020. The game collection will be priced at 5,000 yen (including tax) physically and 4,900 yen digitally (including tax) in Japan. Meanwhile, the West is getting the collection at $39.99 USD/£31.49/€34.99, respectively.
For those unfamiliar with the series, the games take place in a universe where some humans called Adepts are beginning to manifest psychic powers. Gunvolt possesses the Azure Striker septima that allows him to use lightning and begins the series taking requests from the resistance group QUILL and fighting against the large conglomerate Sumeragi that aims to control all Adepts in Japan.
The collection includes both Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. It will support 60 FPS, rumble capability, and the Kudos system in Azure Striker Gunvolt has been changed to that of Azure Gunvolt Striker 2‘s. The games also include all the DLC that were released for them. Furthermore, the game will support multiple languages at launch, including English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
As for new features, the game collection on PS4 will feature a new song by Lumen, the in-universe virtual idol voiced by Megu Sakuragawa. You can hear a bit of the new song in the trailer.
