The Precious Waddle Dee Nendoroid Can Become Bandana Waddle Dee

Good Smile Company has revealed a new Waddle Dee Nendoroid that acts as a follow-up to the Kirby series of special Nendoroids.

The Nendoroid line of Kirby figures has been out for some time, although it’s been mostly relegated to the pink puffball himself. Current figures from the line include Kirby, Ice Kirby, Beam Kirby, Meta Knight, and the Robobot Armor from Kirby: Planet Robobot. Now, Waddle Dee is about to join the lineup.

Like the other Nendoroids in this series, Waddle Dee’s expressions are changed via face plates, and its movements can be simulated thanks to the use of magnets in the limbs. Waddle Dee comes with a regular neutral expression, a slightly worried-looking expression, happy expression, and determined expression. It also comes with a familiar-looking bandanna, a spear, and an apple.

That’s right–this Nendoroid also doubles as one for Bandana Waddle Dee! Bandana Dee is known for loving apples, so it’s not surprising that it’s also able to hold an included apple. Together with the Kirby and Meta Knight Nendoroids, you can create some interesting situations between the three of them.

The Waddle Dee Nendoroid preorders will begin on January 30, 2020. No release date has been given, but it has been announced that Nendoroid Kirby and Nendoroid Ice Kirby will be re-released alongside Waddle Dee.
