Compile Heart has updated the official website for Azur Lane: Crosswave with new screenshots for Taihou and Roon. They are two of the five DLC characters coming to the game.
Apart from Taihou and Roon, Formidable, Le Malin, and Sirius make up the remaining three slots for DLC characters. Each of these characters are fully voiced both in battles and during the campaign, and each one will have their own story chapters in which they will be the featured protagonist. According to Compile Heart, each of these chapters are about as long as a story chapter in the main game. After purchasing them, they will also be usable in areas like Photo Mode and Extreme Battle Mode.

For those unfamiliar with Azur Lane: Crosswave, the game is an 3D shooter that brings in many gameplay systems from the original free-to-play mobile game. However, the story takes place in a parallel world and features two new girls, Shimakaze and Suruga, as its protagonists. The game released in August 2019 in Japan and will be released next month in the West.
That said, currently, there is no release date set for any of the DLC characters outside Japan. Surprisingly, no screenshots have been released for Formidable, the second DLC character announced for the game.
Azur Lane: Crosswave will be released for the PlayStation 4 in North America on February 13, 2020 and in Europe on February 21, 2020. The Steam version will be released on February 13, 2020. The game is immediately available in Japan on the PlayStation 4.
