Steins;Gate 0 Elite Game and Steins;Gate Live-Action TV Series Both Announced

With the Steins;Gate 10th Anniversary well under way; MAGES has announced that Steins;Gate 0 Elite has begun development for unannounced platforms. Its release date and price are also currently undecided.

Steins;Gate 0 Elite is a direct sequel to Steins;Gate Elite, which released in late 2018 in Japan and worldwide in 2019 is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, and iOS.

The Steins;Gate visual novel game series began with the self-titled debut title releasing initially as an Xbox 360 exclusive on October 15, 2009. The game was subsequently ported to several other systems and has seen numerous sequels, plus both a manga and anime adaptation.

Wave Corporation also announced a Kurisu Makise White Coat Version figure, with reservations open in Japan from Summer 2020.

Another bit of new Steins;Gate information has to do with a new Hollywood live-action TV series by Skydance Television. (This is the company known for Altered Carbon and Netflix’s Grace and Frankie.) It will be distributed worldwide, though no release date was announced.

The most recent Steins;Gate release was Steins;Gate: My Darling’s Embrace, available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Nintendo Switch owners could also download Steins;Gate 0 from the eShop on the same date. Steins Gate 0 Elite has no release date.
