While Mario Kart Tour didn’t launch with multiplayer, its first beta was announced back in November 2019. However, there was a catch to the December 2019 event. It would only be open to people who paid for the $4.99 monthly Gold Pass. It then ran from December 19-27, 2019 in-game, giving people who were subscribing a chance to see how it might work. Since that was only a test, any records or saved information people accrued was wiped after the beta ended.
Mario Kart Tour is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Its Ice Tour, with Ice Mario, Penguin Luigi, and Wintertime Peach, is being held now.
