Metal Max Xeno Reborn got a new trailer and screenshots the other day that shows off just what has changed. Check out the trailer above.
Of particular note is the battle system, which is more action-oriented. You move and shoot enemies directly in the field, rather than jumping into separate RPG battles. Meanwhile, your teammates ride on top of the tank, and jump off to help out whenever you encounter an enemy.
You’ll be able to zoom in and aim to shoot long-range, do short-range surprise attacks, and regular battles with teammates. This new battle system allows for seamless transitions from exploration into heated battles.

Metal Max Xeno Reborn will release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on March 26, 2020. You can check out more screenshots in our previous post here.
