Key announced in the latest issue of Famitsu that the critically acclaimed visual novel Little Busters! Converted Edition is headed to the Nintendo Switch, with full English support. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]
Little Busters! tells the story of a group of childhood friends, the eponymous Little Busters. Led by their charismatic leader Kyousuke, they’ve been troublemakers since their youth, and this time, Kyousuke decides that the Little Busters will form a baseball team… with only five people. Tasked with finding more people to join their scheme, the main character, Riki, befriends various girls that he introduces into the Little Busters, gradually expanding the group. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Riki and Kyousuke’s younger sister Rin are tasked by a mysterious person to find “the secret of this world”.
Converted Edition refers to Prototype’s all-ages port of Little Busters! which keeps new content added in the 18+-only Little Busters! Ecstasy. This version has released on PSP, PS Vita, and PS3, and it’s likely that Prototype is behind this port as well. The Switch version of Converted Edition adds in features that were added for the Steam release of Little Busters! English Edition, including a full English language localization and full touchscreen support. You can scroll up and down on CG artwork that can’t be fully displayed in widescreen, or use the pinch motion to zoom in/out if using touchscreen.
