In the future, a black hole prompts mankind to pack their bags and search for a new planet. Humans leave on gigantic chips, big enough to hold a city and some of Earth’s greatest monuments, as they set off into the stars.
A gamma ray bust hit one ship. The beam killed all of the passengers, but the ship’s computers remained operational. When it crash landed the ship started to terraform the planet to make it hospitable for human beings. Instead, the damaged ship created monsters with elements of technology.
The monster on the left is a Protopros, a mix of an insect and a railgun. Mamuma are a dragon mixed with a lightbulb.
You’ll have to fight these monsters in Earth Seeker, but you aren’t alone. Guardians, the natives of this planet, will help you in exchange for liquor. Earth Seeker has a time stop battle system. Characters move in real time as if you were playing an action game. Players can stop time by pressing the A button to input commands.
The player character is quite interesting because she isn’t exactly a “human.” She is also a creation from the ship’s computer.
Earth Seeker is scheduled to come out in Japan this winter.
