NIS America has launched a The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Nintendo Switch cover contest. When physical copies of the RPG appear, it will feature a reversible cover. While the main design has been decided, four possible options have been offered as an alternate look. A popularity vote will determine which one is used with the final product.

Voting is taking place on the official The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III website. People have until December 13, 2019 to pick one of the four designs or see the live results. At the last check, the image of Rean looking out on a flaming city was in first place, while the one just showing Rean gripping his sword was in second.

As a reminder, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III takes place after a brief timeskip. After the events of the previous games, Rean has graduated from Thors. He’s now moved on to become a teacher at its new branch campus, where he is in charge of a whole new Class VII. While his group starts out small, it gradually grows and old friends show up to help them out as they face a familiar threat.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will appear on the Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020 in North America and Europe. It will come to Japan later. People can immediately find the game on the PlayStation 4.
