Square Enix shared an updated Final Fantasy VII Remake cover that shows it’ll be a PS4 timed exclusive until March 3, 2021.
You can see the “PlayStation Exclusive” marker on the bottom-right. It’ll be available to play first on the PlayStation 4 exclusively for a year. The PlayStation 4 is the only platform that has been announced for Final Fantasy VII Remake thus far.
That said, there’s a good chance we could eventually see the game land on Xbox One, PC, or PlayStation 5.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released for the PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020. It will have a Skytree in Midgar event in Tokyo in February 2020. Animate stores in Japan will have a merchandise campaign next year too. The game will also appear at Jump Festa 2020 in Square Enix’s booth.
