Onechanbara Origin’s Rei Will Be Made Immediately Playable With DLC

One of the changes in Onechanbara Origin, a remake of Onechanbara and Onechanbara 2, is the inclusion of a new heroine named Rei. However, she’s not immediately playable in the base game and conditions must be met to use her. However, on December 12, 2019, the game will get DLC to immediately unlock her and costumes for the character. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The Onechanbara Origin Rei DLC will cost 500円 and immediately unlocks her, her basic Ouroboros Battle Suit costume, and her basic weapons. On that same day, two Ouroboros Battle Suit costumes and three Spy Dress outfits will also be released. Each one will cost 200円.

All of the Rei items will also be available in the 3,000円 season pass. That also gives people 10 extra missions, costumes for Aya and Saki, and BGM song sets with tracks from The Onechanbara, The Onechanbara 2, Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers, Onechanbara Z: Kagura, and Onechanbara Z2: Chaos.

Onechanbara Origin is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan. A localization has not been announced, but an English trophy list has appeared.
