Microsoft Executive Vice President of Gaming Phil Spencer has been doing even more Project Scarlett teasing. He noted on Twitter that the next Xbox has progressed so far, he’s already taken one home with him and begun using it as his “primary console.” He also reiterated the 2020 launch window.
Here is Spencer’s full Project Scarlett tweet.
And it’s started….this week I brought my Project Scarlett console home and it’s become my primary console, playing my games, connecting to the community and yes, using my Elite Series 2 controller, having a blast. Great work by the team, 2020 is going to be an incredible year.

Spencer does not make any mention about Project Scarlett-specific games. During its announcement, Microsoft confirmed it will be backwards compatible. However, the Elite Series 2 is the $179.99 Xbox One wireless controller.
Project Scarlett currently has a 2020 launch window.
