Amazon Canada Leak Reveals March 31, 2020 Persona 5 Royal Release Date and Phantom Thieves Edition

Another Persona 5 Royal leak has appeared. This time, a store has spoiled the surprise. Amazon Canada set two product leaks for the upcoming PlayStation 4 game live, revealing it will arrive on March 31, 2020 in the west. These leaks also show off Launch and Phantom Thieves Editions of the games. This all comes ahead of a promised December 3, 2019 announcement from Atlus.

The Persona 5 Royal Launch Edition leaked by Amazon Canada is rather typical. It comes with a copy of the PlayStation 4 game, a dynamic theme, and a Steelbook case to carry it all in.

The Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition is more elaborate. Everything in the Launch Edition is there, guaranteeing people the game, dynamic theme, and Steelbook case. However, people also get a replica of Joker’s mask, a stand to display it, an art book, and a soundtrack. This is all packed in a collector’s box.

Persona 5 Royal is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan, where it has passed 400,000 copies sold. It will show up in Asia, with English subtitles, on February 20, 2020. It will apparently appear on the PlayStation 4 in other regions on March 31, 2020, thanks to images and information from this leak.
