Pac-Man is expanding his repertoire. The iconic character not only navigates mazes and goes on adventures, but he now teaches proper movie etiquette. In Japan, people who visit 19 theaters between November 22 and December 19, 2019 will get to have Pac-Man lecture them about things you don’t do when watching a movie.
The Pac-Man movie video is all set to an original song telling people what they should and shouldn’t do, called “The Manner.” While it is entirely in Japanese, the sentiments are universal. First, Inky decides to use his phone, which is inconsiderate and gets him eaten by Pac-Man. Then, Pinky attempts to start a conversation with Clyde during the movie, which is also a no-no. Again, Pac-Man eats them. This is followed by Blinky kicking the seats of the people in front of him. Pac-Man eats him to teach him a lesson as well. Finally, Clyde tries to record the movie. I’m pretty sure you can figure out what happens to him as a result of his illegal activity.
In Japan, this Pac-Man movie video is being accompanied by a giveaway that will give winners theater tickets and Pac-Man items.
