Experience announced recently on a livestream that they will be holding a Campfire crowdfunding campaign beginning on November 25, 2019 in order to fund a third game in the Spirit Hunter series, which currently includes Spirit Hunter: Death Mark and Spirit Hunter: NG. The game will be tentatively titled Shibito Magire in Japanese. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

The goal of the crowdfunding campaign is to amass 15 million yen from backers in a 60-day period from November 25 at 10pm JST to January 15, 2020, for an aimed 2021 release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

The theme of the new game is not spirit suspense horror like the previous titles, but more of a true horror game with a suspense-based mystery flair. Rather than the concept of succeeding previous horror game experiences while bringing new horror experiences, this time the concept is trying to bring about a fresh sense of exploration due to a change in perspective, and the frantic feelings born from being chased down.
